This Privacy Policy explains what information The Entertainment Marketplace ("we," "us," "our") collects through this website (the "Site"), how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to both Customers (people searching for entertainers) and Entertainers (people creating listings).
Account information: email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text).
Entertainer profile information: business/act name, contact phone, service address or zip code, act category, bio, photos, and video links you choose to submit.
Inquiry information: if you contact an Entertainer through the Site, we collect your name, email, phone (optional), and event details (date, location, type, budget range, message) and pass them to that Entertainer.
Payment information: listing fee payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded and the amount charged — we do not receive or store your full card number.
Marketing add-on interest: if you opt into the optional Tamarisk Marketing add-on, we share your business name and contact email with Tamarisk Marketing so they can follow up directly.
We use the information above to: operate your account and listing; process listing fee payments; route inquiries from Customers to Entertainers; review and approve listings; communicate with you about your account or listing; and improve the Site.
We do not sell your personal information.

We retain account and listing information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after deactivation to comply with legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. Inquiry records are retained to give Entertainers a record of leads they've received.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at theentertainmentmarketplace@gmail.com. Deleting your account will remove your listing from public search, subject to any records we're required to retain by law.
The Site is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
We use industry-standard measures (including encrypted connections and a managed authentication provider) to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
